Ignoring the pain,
My life goes on still,
Holding the memories,
I take my pill,
I think of him,
And remember the fun,
And the things we did,
And it hits like a ton,

My heart drops,

My stomach flip-flops,

I've been thinking
long, hard and true
about the path
that's leading us two
I've been walking
along the wrong one
looking for the fork in the road
leading to fun
instead I found
the path to you
now I am lost
and don't know what to do
which way to turn
the choice was mine
I chose to go to you
and I crossed the line
close to my soul
near my heart
lost in your eyes
never wanting to depart.

When He brought you together
It was obvious He had a plan
He was there from the beginning
God is a wise man

He brought you good times and laughter
He brought you love
He brought you together
And this, He was proud of

When He needed His Angel back
He knew that you would mourn
He was saddened
Thus he was torn

Although your loss is hard
God is by your side
When He took His Angel home
For you, He cried.
